Endowed professorships at the University of Kansas are one of the most significant academic honors the university can offer. They help to attract and retain top talent, which translates into research, discovery and innovation opportunities for Jayhawks that are only possible through these donor-supported faculty positions. But more than that, an investment in an endowed professorship is not only an investment in one person  it is an investment in advancing knowledge, enriching students’ lives and serving the people of Kansas and beyond.
